Empowering Sheep Farms to Grow Healthier, Stronger, and Smarter.

TechnoGen is a dedicated brand focused on elevating the standards of sheep farming through expert veterinary consultancy, trusted educational resources, and practical tools designed specifically for ovine operations.

We believe that healthy flocks and sustainable growth start with the right knowledge, precise guidance, and field-ready solutions. That’s why TechnoGen brings together veterinary expertise, carefully developed books and guides, and innovative tools that help sheep farmers improve flock health, productivity, and overall farm performance.

Whether you are managing a small flock or a large commercial operation, TechnoGen is here to support your journey with science-based practices, practical experience, and solutions tailored for real farm conditions.

Dr. Hany El-lithy, Founder of TechnoGen

Dr. Hany Mohamed Amin Ellithy is the driving force behind TechnoGen and one of Egypt’s most experienced authorities in sheep and goat production, reproductive management, and flock performance.

With more than 30 years of continuous work at the Animal Production Research Institute (APRI), Agricultural Research Center (ARC), Ministry of Agriculture, Dr. Ellithy has dedicated his career to turning scientific research into real, measurable improvements inside sheep farms. His work bridges the gap between laboratory science and practical farm results.

Holding B.Sc., M.Sc., and Ph.D. degrees in Animal Production from Ain Shams University, Dr. Ellithy specialized in advanced reproductive technologies in sheep. His research focused on conception optimization, ovarian physiology, and in-vitro oocyte maturation—knowledge that today forms the backbone of his practical approach to improving fertility, growth rates, and overall flock health.

What sets Dr. Ellithy apart is not only academic expertise, but decades of direct field engagement with sheep and goat farms, solving real problems in nutrition, reproduction, disease prevention, and management efficiency.

TechnoGen was founded from this mission: to make high-level veterinary knowledge, practical tools, and expert consultancy accessible to sheep farmers who want healthier flocks, stronger growth, and higher productivity.

His vision is simple: Bring research out of laboratories and into farms, where it makes measurable impact. Science must serve the farm.

RESEARCH IMPACT

What This Means for Sheep & Goat Farmers ?

Dr. Hany El-lithy’s research was never meant to stay on paper. Each study was driven by one goal: solve real fertility and productivity problems inside sheep and goat farms

Here’s how this body of work translates into measurable farm results through TechnoGen:

Higher Conception Rates in Artificial Insemination
Research on insemination timing, semen dose, catheter types, cervical preparation, and laparoscopic techniques led to practical AI protocols that significantly increase pregnancy rates in Rahmani and Barki ewes under field conditions.

Farm result: Fewer failed  inseminations, more pregnant ewes, tighter lambing seasons.

Better Estrus Detection & Perfect Timing

Studies on vaginal mucus electrical resistance and synchronization hygiene created accurate tools to determine the best insemination moment.

Farm result: Inseminate at the right time instead of guessing → higher success with the same semen dose.

Stronger Semen After Cooling & Freezing

Extensive work on amino acids, antioxidants, and extender formulations for rams, bucks, and bulls improved sperm motility and viability after preservation.

Farm result: Higher fertility from stored or transported semen and better results from every AI attempt.

Solving Cervical Barrier Problems in Ewes

Research on prostaglandin pessaries and cervical management addressed one of the biggest challenges in sheep AI: cervical resistance.

Farm result: Easier insemination, deeper semen deposition, improved conception.

Improved Hygiene in Synchronization Programs

Studies on adding antibiotics to vaginal sponges and reducing microbial load in cervical fluids linked clean reproductive tracts to higher pregnancy rates.

Farm result: Fewer hidden infections, lower embryo loss, better AI outcomes.

Advanced Oocyte & Embryo Technologies

Work on oocyte vitrification, cryoprotectants, and in-vitro embryo production built deep understanding of egg quality, ovarian physiology, and embryo survival.

Farm result: Smarter reproductive management, better ewe preparation before breeding, and improved overall fertility.

New Surgical & Laparoscopic Techniques

Development of surgical methods for AI and embryo recovery in Barki ewes improved access to the uterus and embryo handling.

Farm result: Advanced reproductive options for elite breeding and genetic improvement programs.

From Research to Practical Farm Systems

All these studies form the scientific backbone of TechnoGen’s. This is not theory. These are field-tested, research-proven methods designed to produce more pregnancies, healthier lambs, and higher flock productivity.
